The 2020 baseball season is currently on hold for the Muleshoe Mules.
The Mules new alignment lands them in a five-team District 3-3A with Brownfield and Denver City, who were previously in a district together with Littlefield. Lamesa will also be coming down from 4A to round out the district.

UIL released the new alignments for the landscape of the 2020-2021 baseball and softball districts Tuesday morning.
The 2020 softball season came to a screeching halt back in March and had been suspended until further notice by the UIL due to COVID-19.
The Lady Mules will be squaring off with some new, yet familiar competition next year with the new alignment landing them in District 3-3A with Brownfield and Denver City, Dimmitt and Littlefield. Lamesa will also be coming down from 4A to round out the district.

The Sudan Nettes will be entering their first softball season during the 2020-2021 school year. The program does not have its head coach yet, but Athletic Director John Cornelius said that they are currently vetting candidates for the position.
Sudan will join District 3-2A along with Floydada, Hale Center, Lockney, New Deal, Ralls, Sundown and Crosbyton.
