The Texas High Plains IPM team has launched a weekly podcast in which agents from surrounding counties will discuss local issues important to area producers.
Participating IPM agents include: Blayne Reed, Hale and Swisher counties; Kerry Siders, Hockley, Cochran and Lamb counties; John Thobe, Palmer, Bailey and Castro counties; Dagan Teague, Floyd and Crosby counties; Pat Porter, district entomologist; and (when available) Suhas Vyavhare, district cotton entomologist.
Text alert signups are currently available at https://www.texasinsects.org/signup-texts.html and fill out the signup form for High Plains. Signing up for the alerts will allow you to know when the latest podcast is available.
The podcasts are being conducted weekly. Last week’s podcast was released Wednesday and focused on area soil temperatures.
