Staff Reports

Texas Real Estate Commission and Texas Appraiser Licensing & Certification Board are waiving the deadlines for license applications and renewals until June 30.
License applicants and license holders that are within their renewal period are automatically being granted an extension for those requirements until the end of June, though both the TREC and TALCB will monitor any potential need to further those extensions.
The extension applies to licenses that were set to expire on March 31, April 30 or May 31. Those who previously enrolled in classes for these services are encouraged to contact their educational providers to determine the next options that are available.
Those initially applying for licenses that were slated to expire between March 11 to June 30 now have until the end of June to complete the application requirements.
Licensing exams are expected to be delayed further due to social distancing requirements. Exams eligibility that was scheduled to expire before June 30 now have until that date to take and pass the exam.
Exam registration can be found at https://home.pearsonvue.com. Progress of submitted applications can be found at https://bit.ly/2L0v94k.
