At their regular meeting Monday, May 11, the Muleshoe ISD Board of Trustees welcomed Kaye Elliott, outgoing chief appraiser for Bailey County Appraisal District, and Jessica Rivera, incoming chief appraiser for Bailey County Appraisal District.
Muleshoe ISD presented a gift of encouragement for Elliott›s retirement at the end of May. The board also provided a welcoming gift of encouragement to Rivera.
The group enjoyed some healthy conversations regarding property appraisals, the fun Elliott has enjoyed during her 30-plus year tenure, and the smooth transition Rivera will make into her new position.
