Estella Saucedo is our featured employee this week at the Bailey County Senior Center. Our newest employee, Estella has worked at our Center for 3 ½ months in the position of Assistant Cook. She is married to Alfredo Garcia and they have been together for 15 years. She is the mother of Isaac Luebanos, age 24, and Kaylah Garcia, age 5. Another son, her forever young Joey Luebanos lost his life in an accident 6 months ago!

Stella shared with me that the most important thing in her life is her family. They are always there for her and helped her keep going during the “bad times.” She has faced some real challenges in her life but her strength and courage came from her loving family who stayed by her side and supported her.
Estella and her family live here in Muleshoe and she attends the Catholic Church.
Stella is not only a remarkable lady; she is also a remarkable employee. She is honest, compassionate, and caring. She takes her responsibilities very seriously. She is always willing to come in early or stay late when needed to get the job done. She says the favorite part of her job is getting to know the patrons and being able to serve them.
It is obvious that Stella has learned the value of work and has learned the importance of enjoyed the work she does. As a result, we value Stella and enjoy the opportunity to work with her daily!
