The Muleshoe Journal walked away with four awards from the Panhandle Press Better Newspaper Contest.
The Journal earned two first place awards and two third place awards.
Gabby Perez, The Journal’s advertising manager, earned first place for content submitted in the advertising initiative category of the Division I advertising design competition.
The Journal was recognized with a first place award for front page layout.
Alice Liles earned a third place recognition for feature writing and Gail Williams earned third place for headline writing.
