Church service for Dewey Moore, age 79, of Muleshoe, Texas, is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Muleshoe with Curtis Shelburne of Muleshoe
officiating. Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park. The service will be live-streamed on www.fbcmuleshoe.org. Go to Watch to find the service. Dewey died Saturday, July 25, 2020 in Muleshoe. He was born October 24, 1940 in Muleshoe to A.E. and Lois (Garner) Moore. He married Judy Clevenger in Clovis, New Mexico on November 21, 1962.
Dewey owned and operated Mohawk Auto Parts in Muleshoe for 42 years. He enjoyed going to the lake, water skiing and fishing. Dewey loved his Mustangs, boats and his motor home. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Dewey is survived by his wife, Judy; his son, Lynn Moore and his wife, Jimmie Kay of Muleshoe, Texas; his daughter, Robin Green and her husband, Mark of Stanton, Texas; his three sisters, Laqueda Myers of Springtown, Texas, Bettie Hayes of Phoenix, Arizona and Rita Blackmon of Andrews, Texas; his four grandchildren, Chelsea Moore, Naaman Gipson, Josh Gipson and Emily Gipson; his 6 great-grandchildren; and his one, great-great-grandchild.
