Chad Prather is set to make a stop in Lubbock on Nov. 5.

The comedian, musician and observational humorist, who is also described as an armchair philosopher and a “modern-day Will Rogers,” will perform at The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences at 7:30 p.m.

Prather has traveled around the world throughout his acting career, which began around the age of 6.

The Augusta, Georgia-native now lives around Fort Worth. According to the news release from The Buddy Holly Hall, Prather is known for his comedic family stories told from an adult perspective.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. and range in price from $25 to $49, plus taxes and fees. They can be purchased at buddyhollyhall.com, by calling ETIX at (800)514-3849, or at The Buddy Holly Hall Box Office at 1300 Mac Davis Lane Monday through Friday from noon-4 p.m.
