The second half of the Amarillo Sod Poodles’ season kicks off on Tuesday night with a 12-game homestand.

First up for the Sod Poodles, the Class Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, is six straight games against the Frisco RoughRiders. The RoughRiders are the affiliate of the Texas Rangers and features former Texas Tech standout Josh Jung. Jung is currently the Rangers’ top minor league prospect.

That six-game stretch will conclude on Sunday. After that, the Sod Poodles will host the San Antonio Missions, the affiliate of the San Diego Padres, for another six games next week (July 27-Aug. 1).

During this Sunday’s game against the RoughRiders, the first 1,500 fans ages 12 and older receive Taylor Trammell bobbleheads. The Aug. 1 game against San Antonio will be MacKenzie Gore bobblehead night.
