The Muleshoe Girl Scouts will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 24 at the Watson Junior High Library.

The organization is open to Muleshoe area girls in kindergarten to 8th grade. The meeting next week is for adults and their interested girl scouts.

There are five key ways Girl Scouts thrive, according to a flyer from the organization. They develop a strong sense of self; display positive values; seek challenges and learn from setbacks; they form and maintain healthy relationships; and they learn to identify and solve problems in their communities.
