Covenant Health will host a support group for those living with diabetes.
The free meetings will be held once a month on Tuesday evenings from 6-7 p.m. at the Covenant Health LifeStyle Centre, which located on the top floor of the east parking garage off 21st and Knoxville.
Dates for the meetings are Oct. 19, Nov. 16, Dec. 21 and Jan. 18.
The meetings are led by participants in the group and will feature appearances by industry experts such as dentists, fitness specialists and certified diabetes educations.
Topics will include diabetic meal planning and nutrition; weight management; tracking and monitoring blood sugars; wound care and prevention; dental health; exercise and physical activities; stress management; diabetic medication and injection devices; and heart health.
