Game Wardens in the state of Texas as seeking public help to identify individuals responsible for killing five pronghorn on the weekend of Sept. 24-26.

The bodies of the pronghorns were found one mile north of I-40, just east of Adrian. Their carcasses were dumped on private land with skull and horns missing.

Game Wardens believe this was an act of trophy hunter and encourage anyone with information about those responsible to call the Operation Game Thief Hotline at 1-800-792-4263. Relevant information may include things considered out of the ordinary, such as strange gunshots, unfamiliar vehicles in the area, headlights in a field on those nights or observing a bloody tailgate.

Information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible will be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
