Covenant Children’s in Lubbock will host the second of two COVID-19 vaccination clinics for kids on Dec. 4. 

The clinics is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Plains Mall. The clinic will be on the south end of the mall near JCPenney across from H&M. 

The FDA recently granted Pfizer emergency use authorization to provide its vaccine for kids 5 to 11 years old.  

A news release from Covenant Health notes Premiere Cinema and Bubba’s 33 will offer incentives for kids who receive a vaccination. The theater will offer a free popcorn voucher and the restaurant will provide Kid’s Coins which can redeem a kid’s pizza.
