The City of Muleshoe will host its annual tree lighting ceremony in conjunction with Shop Small Saturday.

The event is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Muleshoe Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture at 115 E. American Blvd. There will be caroling and hot chocolate.

On that day, those interested in knocking out some holiday shopping are encouraged to take part in the celebration. Participating business will have punch cards available for shoppers as they browse. Fill out a punch card and leave it at a participating store or at the Chamber for a chance to win a gift basket full of goodies from local businesses.
