            The Sudan Nettes’ varsity basketball team left no doubt en route to their 2A Bi-district championship on Monday evening, as they bounced the Smyer Lady cats, 91-42, at Frenship’s Tiger Pit.

            Sudan jumped out to a, 27-10, lead in the first quarter and outscored the Lady Cats, 23-7, in the second frame to take a, 50-17, lead into the locker room at halftime.

            Sudan kept it going offensively in the second half, posting 21 points in the third quarter and 20 points in the fourth quarter to take the contest, 91-42.

            Addison Boehning led the team in scoring with 21 points to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Gracyn Shultz tallied 16 points, five steals, two assists and two rebounds, while Stevi Lockhart contributed 11 points, two rebounds, two assists and one block.

            Riley Edens chipped in nine points, six rebounds, two steals and one block, while Sydney Cornelius contributed eight points, two assists and two steals, and Braelyn Pointer tallied eight points, four steals, two rebounds and two assists.

            Liz Sital notched six points, eight assists, three rebounds and two steals, while Elaine Martinez tallied six points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal, and Landree Gonzales added three points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block. Kambry Tolbert finished with three points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists.

            The Nettes Area match-up is TBD, but they will play the winner of Miles and Eldorado.
