A special recognition is planned for the ladies who run the Heritage Thrift Shop.

The luncheon celebration is planned for Friday at the Oneita Wagnon Senior Center. Serving will begin at 11 a.m. The community is invited to come out for a plate and to thank these women.

The women – Peggy Bates, Ruby Henderson, Martha Stroud and Jearldean Richardson – have spent a collective 66 years serving at the thrift shop.

Bates began in 2000, Henderson and Stroud started in 2006 and Richardson started helping in 2009.
