The Bailey County Republican Party will host its Precinct Convention and County Convention on Saturday at the Muleshoe Church of Christ, 2201 W. American Blvd.

The Precinct Convention will start at 3 p.m. and the County Convention will start 30 minutes after the first meeting adjourns.

The purpose of these conventions is to select delegates for the County Convention and then the State Convention, which is set for June 16-18 in Houston.

The party currently seeks members to join its Credentials Committee, Nominations Committee and Resolutions Committee. Those interested in serving are asked to reach out to Carroll Precure, chairman of the Bailey County Republican Party.
