Xcel Energy seeks to make some hires in the Plainview area.

The company is looking for people to fill positions through its residential customer service and credit contact centers. The duties include taking calls, answering billing questions, negotiating payment arrangements, service requests, promoting products, etc.

There are also positions available in Amarillo, Dumas and Pampa, according to a news release from Xcel.

Full-time positions – with benefits – are available. Potential employees must have an adequate internet connection at home – which the company will determine based on the internet service provider. Employees will be provided with high quality computer technology and will complete an eight-week virtual training session.
