Family Medicine Clinic at 701 S. 1st St. is being renovated with additional provider and exam rooms.

Muleshoe’s two medical clinics are being combined into one with renovations underway at Muleshoe Family Medicine Clinic.

“We’re combining the clinics and renovating to better meet the needs of the community,” said Muleshoe Area Medical Center Administrator Dennis Fleenor.

After longtime physician Dr. Bruce Purdy retired, MAMC made the decision to combine the clinics and renovate the clinic at 701 S. 1st St. At this time, patients are being directed to the hospital across the street.

“We’re super excited about the remodeling that’s going on inside,” Fleenor said. “We’re adding six exam rooms and two provider rooms. Once the renovation is complete, we’ll move everybody over to the clinic.”
