Muleshoe Police arrested a 33-year-old Muleshoe man on June 28 for driving with license, driving with an expired registration and for failure to maintain financial responsibility.

Joel Ortega, 52, of Anton, was arrested on June 29 by the Bailey County Sheriff’s Office for an active warrant for possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, which is a felony.

Felipe Deleon, 25, of Lubbock, was arrested on June 30 by the Bailey County Sheriff’s Office for an active felony warrant for aggravated assault against a security officer.

A 17-year-old Muleshoe man was arrested by Muleshoe PD on July 2 for a DWI and for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jesus Montiel, 20, of Muleshoe, was arrested by DPS Troopers on July 3 for possession of a controlled substance, which is a felony, and for possession of marijuana.

Latosha Gallegos, 32, of Portales, New Mexico, was arrested by the Bailey County Sheriff’s Office on July 5 for a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, which is a felony.

The Bailey County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Michael Lozano of Muleshoe on July 8 for a felony warrant for assault of a pregnant person.

BCSO arrested 48-year-old Billy Vanleer of Muleshoe on July 8 for two active felony warrants – one for attempted murder/hate crime and one for burglary of a habitation.

Dakota Vanleer, 22, of Muleshoe, was arrested by BCSO on July 10 for an active warrant for attempted murder/hate crime and a warrant for burglary of a habitation, both of which are felonies.

A 47-year-old Muleshoe man was arrested by Muleshoe PD on July 9 for public intoxication.

A 39-year-old Muleshoe man was arrested on July 9 for an active warrant out of Curry County.

A 54-year-old Muleshoe man was arrested by Muleshoe PD on July 10 for criminal trespass.

Rickie Trotty, 24, of Lubbock, was arrested by Bailey County Sheriff’s Office for an active warrant for abandoning/endangering a child with intentional/knowing/reckless criminal negligence, which is a felony. The arrest was made on July 11.
