The Sudan Cemetery is raising money to build a chapel.

The cemetery will host a fundraising meal at the Sudan Community Center & Gazebo on Aug. 14 to aid the cause. The event will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. that day. Guests are encouraged to take their own chairs.

There will be a hamburger meal, door prizes, a silent auction and live music. Auction items will be awarded at 1:30 p.m. The cemetery would like donations.
