Muleshoe community members gathered at Benny Douglas Stadium Monday night for the annual Meet The Mules event. Incoming football players, cheerleaders and special mini supporters were introduced to the community. The event was the first public back-to-school event for the district. The school year officially begins Aug. 17, though sports activities are set to kick off this week. The Muleshoe Mules will host the first scrimmage of the season against Dimmitt on Friday night. The JV team plays at 5 p.m. and the varsity is set to play at 6 p.m.
