COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT – Muleshoe High School students in Mrs. McCamish’s Family and Consumer Science Classes and those in Mrs. Kribbs’s, Ms. Palmer’s and Mr. Thomason’s Agriculture classes spent Friday (Aug. 26, 2022) at the Muleshoe Thrift Store helping to clean and organize items. Students also learned about the purpose of the store and how it supports the Muleshoe Heritage Center. Students hung clothes, hauled trash, and organized items. This will be an ongoing project for these students and classes this year. MHS and MISD leadership encourages teachers to get students involved in the community and learn not only real-world work skills, but also the value of giving back to their community.
