Muleshoe ISD will host a couple of drug awareness presentations next week.

UMC EMS training chief Chad Curry, a licensed paramedic, will be present on Monday, Sept. 12, to share information about drug awareness with both students and the community.

Curry, who works for UMC EMS in Lubbock, will give his first presentation of the day to the high school at 10:30 a.m. and will speak to junior high at 2:50 p.m.

He will speak again later in the afternoon at the MHS Commons and Auditorium.

The doors will open for this presentation at 5 p.m. There will be finger foods and drinks. Curry will speak at 5:30 p.m.

The final presentation of the day – the one at 5:30 – is open to the public. Anyone interested can attend.
