Pizza restaurant One Guy from Italy is running their Pizza Roulette Spicy Slice challenge to help raise awareness for pediatric cancer and funds for Covenant Children’s.

This promotion is in recognition of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month.

“Taking on our spicy slice challenge is nothing compared to the challenge these kids have to take on everyday living with cancer,” One Guy from Italy owner Gabe Vitela said in a news release from Covenant Health.

Customers can spend $2 extra to upgrade their to a pizza roulette. One of the slices in the pizza will be spicy, but the customer will not know which slice. Every $2 upgrade will go directly to Covenant Children’s Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Clinic, according to the news release.

“One of our biggest priorities at Covenant Children’s is to ensure a bright and thriving future for our pediatric cancer patients,” Covenant Children’s CEO Dr. Amy Thompson said. “One Guy from Italy is helping us with that goal by not only their financial contribution to our clinic but the awareness they are raising for how many kids are impacted by childhood cancer.”

The promotion will run between Sept. 22 through Oct. 22 at three locations, 1101 University Ave, 4320 50th St and 1018 Broadway Street in Lubbock.
