Muleshoe vs. Brock 

Muleshoe fans are going to have a nice two-hour drive to see their Mules play as they take on Brock (7-4) Thursday night in Sweetwater. After securing the Bi-District Championship in a high scoring affair against Brownfield, the Mules have another test ahead of them. Brock won the district 4-3A title, going undefeated in the process. All four of Brock’s losses came in the first four games of the season. According to MaxPrep’s statewide rankings, Brock is ranked 10th in 3A while Muleshoe is 37th

Kickoff for this game is 7 p.m. Thursday at Mustang Stadium 1205 Ragland St., Sweetwater TX. Tickets for adults is $5 and $3 for students. District and Texas High School Coaches Association passes will also be accepted.  

Sudan vs. Wellington  

Sudan has a tall task ahead of them as they take on No. 3 ranked Wellington (10-1) this week in the area round of the playoffs. It is hard to compare the two squads as their paths so far have been quite different. The two teams have no common opponents. However, Wellington has yet to give up more than one touchdown in their past six games.  

Kickoff for this game is 7 p.m. Friday at Dick Bivins Stadium 801 S Marrs St., Amarillo, Tx. Tickets will be sold at the gate and the stadium is enforcing a clear bag policy.  

Springlake-Earth vs. Nazareth 

Springlake-Earth will travel to Petersburg to take on Nazareth in the area round Friday. These two top ranked teams both put on impressive showings in their Bi-District games and now are ranked right atop one another. Springlake-Earth is ranked 10th in the state and Nazareth 11th according to sixmanfootball.com. 

Kickoff for this matchup is 7:30 p.m. Friday at Buffalo stadium 1411 W 4th St., Petersburg Tx.
