In Mayor and Council remarks, Behrends announced that Five Area has donated a couple of cameras to be installed in the Senior Center.

“The place was broken into two or three weeks ago, and they’re trying to make it a little harder for people to do that, and they wanted to put in some cameras there along the entrances” he said. “So Five Area has very graciously agreed to donate two cameras and monitors and everything to the Senior Center, and I just wanted to tell Five Area how much we appreciate that, and it’s really nice to be in a small community where people look after each other.”

The Council went into Executive Session, Closed Session in Accordance with Vernon’s Texas Codes Annotated, Government, Section 551.072 Real Estate.

The Council later adjourned.
