The regular season ended for women’s basketball on Tuesday. As the playoffs are set to kick off next week, a few teams are still stuck in tiebreaker situations, needing to figure out seeding and positioning.

Below is each area team’s current playoff positioning. The list will be updated as results are sent in.

5A

Plainview

The Plainview Lady Bulldogs finished fourth in district and will play the number one seed in district 4-5A, the No. 1 ranked team in 5A Lubbock Monterey in their bi-district round 7 p.m. at Littlefield High School.

3A

Muleshoe

Muleshoe finished second in district 3-3A. The Lady Mules will face off against the third seed in district 4-3A Alipine in their bi-district round. Tip off is set for 5 p.m. at Denver City 

Shallowater

The Fillies finished third in district 2-3A this season. They will matchup against the loser of Canadian and Spearman’s playoff qualifier for their bi-district playoff round.

2A

Sudan

Sudan finished as district champs in district 4-2A. They will face off against the fourth-place team in district 3-2A Bovina in their bi-district round.

Floydada

Floydada is currently locked into a three-way tie for second place in the district with Olton and Hale Center. The Lady Winds will play a playoff qualifier Thursday against Olton for the third and fourth seed. That game is set for 7 p.m. at Frenship High School.

The winner of Thursday’s game will take on Hale Center Friday for second and third place in the district. That game will be hosted by Plainview High School at 6:30 p.m.

Olton

Olton is currently locked into a three-way tie for second place in the district with Floydada and Hale Center. The Fillies will play a playoff qualifier Thursday against Olton for the third and fourth seed. That game is set for 7 p.m. at Frenship High School.

The winner of Thursday’s game will take on Hale Center Friday for second and third place in the district. That game will be hosted by Plainview High School at 6:30 p.m.

Hale Center

Hale Center is currently locked into a three-way tie for second place in the district with Olton and Floydada.

The Lady Owls will play the winner of Thursday’s game between Olton and Floydada Friday night. Friday’s game will be at Plainview High School with tip off at 6:30 p.m.

Farwell

Farwell finished second in district play and will play the third place team in district 4-2A in their bi-district round.

1A

Nazareth

Nazareth finished first in district 4-1A this season. They will match up against the fourth seed in district 3-1A Pringle Morse Monday at Amarillo High in their bi-district round. Tip-off for that game is set for 7 p.m.

Happy

Happy finished second in district 4-1A this season. They will face off against the third seed in district 3-1A Hartley in their bi-district round.

Kress

Kress finished third in district 4-1A this season. Their opponent in the bi-district round of the playoffs will be against the second seed in district 3-1A Texline.

Springlake-Earth

The Wolverines finished fourth in district 4-1A. Their opponent will be the number one seed in district 3-1A, Wildorado.
