Mules suffer heartbreak loss against Chieftains

The Muleshoe Mules lose a heartbreaker in front of a packed homecoming crowd, to one of their oldest rivalries, the Friona Chieftains. The Mules hosted the Chieftains Friday night and were set back a 0-3 start on the season. The Mules displayed heart and tough tenacity in the loss. The offense had a lot of bright spots and being able to find the end zone more times than previous weeks.

Muleshoe ISD’s 2018 Homecoming Queen Nominees: Natalie Diaz, Joceline Ramirez, Valeria Carreaga, Keely Dunham and Kyndal Miller. Homecoming Queen will be crowned at half-time this Friday, during the Muleshoe vs Friona game.

But real-life murders are not solved in one hour, and sometimes it can take decades or longer before a cold case is closed.

Minutes for Sept. 4

Opening: Announcements were made by president, Martha Hunnicutt before opening the meeting welcoming everyone to the Muleshoe Art Association Kick-off meeting! President extended a warm thank you to Gina Wilkerson for allowing the association to meet in the historic venue. The president also recognized Vice president Kay Hohes for lining-up the art programs for the 2018-2019 art season.
