National Dairy Month: Texas dairies committed to keeping milk safe

When you buy a gallon of milk at the store, do you wonder if it’s safe to drink? Probably not, and with good reason. Pasteurization may have been invented 154 years ago, but it’s still the best, and only, way to kill potential disease-causing bacteria in milk.

Muleshoe Library Summer Reading Program begins

Muleshoe Library has begun its Summer Reading Program. Children ages 2–1st grade programs are from 10 a.m.-10:30 a.m. every Monday in June. Children in 2nd–5th grades programs are from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. every Tuesday in June. Join the Summer Reading Club for reading fun, prizes and lots of special events.
