JV Mules in a 24-24 tie with Wildcats

The Junior Varsity Muleshoe Mule team traveled to Littlefield, Texas to face off in a tough back and forth fight with the Littlefield Wildcats last Thursday night. The battle resulted in a 24-24 tie. “The guys played hard and did very well.” stated Coach Steven Butler, “They made huge strides from pre district.”

Mules lose district opener

The Muleshoe High School Varsity Football team loses their first district game of the season. The Mules faced the Littlefield Wildcats here at Benny Douglas Stadium this past Friday night. The Mules offense was able to score for the first time in three weeks. Senior quarterback #7 Luke Del Toro threw a perfect pass to senior wide receiver #1 Brady Martinez for a 25 yard touchdown play.

Junior 8th B wins district opener

The Watson Junior High 8th grade B-team would host the Littlefield Wildcats junior High B team here at Benny Douglas Stadium this past Thursday afternoon. The game started with the opening kickoff with the Mules #11 Jeremiah Estraca receiving the ball taking it to the house to put the Mules up early. Quarterback #12 Justin Dyck tosses the ball to #2 Anthony Ngo for a touchdown on their next drive.

Cross Country team pounds through elements; 3 advance

Hey there Sports Fans!
Monday, Oct. 8, our cross country team endured the second flood of the world as they ran at Thompson Park. There was a rain delay, yet our cross country kids know no bounds when it comes to the elements. They ran through the swamps and the prairies of Amarillo.

Eighth grade receives first win

The Watson Junior High 8th grade A football team played host to the Dimmitt Bobcats on Thursday October 4th here at Benny Douglas Stadium. The Mules were able to get their first victory on the season with a 24-12 win over the Bobcats, bringing them to 1-3. The Mules will host the Littlefield Wildcats Oct. 11 here at home territory to open their district play this year.
