Varsity Lady Mules Take Fourth Place At District Track Meet
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
The Lady Mules scored 65 points for fourth place in the District 2-3A Track Meet Friday afternoon.

Shallowater, Littlefield and Friona finished ahead of the Lady Mules and Dimmitt and Tulia followed them.

A fourth place or better finish in an event qualified for the Area Track Meet scheduled for Friday, April 24, on the Canyon Randall High School Track.

Shanice Rosas got the Lady Mules on the board with a bronze medal throw of 99 feet in the discus.

Varsity Mules Take Dimmitt, Fall To Littlefield
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
The Mules bats were almost silent Tuesday when visiting the Littlefield Wildcats.

Felipe Guerrero singled to right field in the second inning, Jason Florez singled to right field in the top of the sixth inning and Dustin Smith beat out an infield hit in the top of the seventh.

Littlefield did not hit much better and recorded only four hits.

But the Wildcats had two batters hit by a pitch in the second inning and scored both on two sacrifice ground balls and a Mule error.

Mule Track Team Takes Bronze At District
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
The Mules earned the bronze trophy at the District 2-3A Track Meet Friday with 72 points.

Shallowater and Dimmitt finished ahead of the Mules.Competitors that finished in the top four places qualified to compete in the Area Meet scheduled to be held on the Canyon Randal High School track Friday, April 24.

Cesar Olvera got the Mules started by winning back-to-back bronze medals in the shot put and discus. He had a heave of 40 feet - one inch in the shot put and a throw of 116-8 in the discus

Harrison Takes Regional Golf Gold
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
Conner Harrison is the boy’s 2015 District Golf 2-3A Gold Medalist and qualified for the Region I Tournament, where he matched his first round score with an 80 in the second round for a total of 160 strokes.

Harrison won the gold medal by five shots.

This is back-to-back district championships for him and he is classified as a junior.

The Mules did not have enough players to compete as a team but Dustin Stearmer shot a second round total of 121.

Eighth Grade Mules Lead Competition At District Meet
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
The eighth grade Mule track team ran away with the District 2-3A Track meet with 211 points.
The meet was held on the Shallowater track.

Shallowater, Tulia, Littlefield, Friona and Dimmitt all trailed the Mules.

Ean Hasley set the Mule win in motion by winning the gold medal in the pole vault with a height of nine feet six inches.

Relay Determines Champion At Seventh Grade Meet
Wednesday, April 22, 2015
The seventh grade District 2-3A Track Meet championship was not determined until the finish of the 4x400-meter relay.

The Mules were just off the pace and fell just three points behind the Shallowater Mustangs for the team gold.

The Mules finished the meet with 186.5 points and Shallowater had 189.5 points. Littlefield,

Friona, Dimmitt and Tulia were all well off the pace.
