By Delton Wilhite Sportswriter The Mules chased the Friona Chieftains for most of the first 42 minutes of the football game Friday night. The Chiefs were undefeated on the season at 7-0, and the Mules were unbeaten in district play with a record of 2-0.

By Delton Wilhite Sportswriter The freshmen Mules took the best the Friona Braves had to offer Thursday afternoon, then turned the table on the Braves and came back from a 14-0 deficit in the opening quarter. The Mules outscored the Braves for a 30-26 win.
