Muleshoe ISD’s total enrollment for the 2022-2023 year stands at 1309 for the school system, 17 fewer than last year’s enrollment of 1326, according to MISD Superintendent Dr. R.L. Richards.

Dillman Elementary has slightly higher enrollment levels than last year with 388 compared to last year’s 385, while DeShazo Elementary remains level at 286 for both years.

Muleshoe High School has 352 this year, a decline of 17 from last year’s total of 369. Watson Junior High lost 3 with 283 compared to last year’s total of 286.

During the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years, total enrollment stood at 1373. During the pandemic year of 2020-2021 it dipped to 1279, increasing to 1333 for the 2021-2022 school year.
