Muleshoe baseball had a successful weekend, placing second at the Floydada Whirlwind Classic last week.

The Mules opened up the tournament with a 14-9 win over Post Thursday afternoon. They followed that up with an even bigger offensive performance in their semifinal win over Floydada, 20-5, to advance to the championship game against Dimmitt. The Mules fell in the championship game 10-4 to claim second place in the championship bracket.
