District 3-3A recently released their all-district lists for the 2022-2023 basketball season and Muleshoe earned a few spots on the lists including one superlative award.

Junior Sebastian Kirven was named the District Defensive Player of the Year after nearly averaging two steals a game for the Mules. Lamesa’s Luke Martinez was named district 3-3A MVP for the second year in a row.

Senior Irvin Torres highlights the First team All-District list. Seniors Eliasar Cisneros and Tate Shipman were named as Honorable Mention All-District members as well.

Muleshoe finished 3-9 in district play, sixth place in the district.
