The Bailey County Senior Center would like to recognize our Sponsor of the Week, Ellis Funeral Home. 

In February, 1959 Frank H. Ellis and his wife Sally of Plainview, Texas purchased Travis Reed’s interest in Singleton Funeral Home of Muleshoe where Frank became manager.

January 1, 1976, Frank and Sally purchased full interest in the funeral home from C.V. Singleton of Lubbock and the name changed to Ellis Funeral Home.  Todd and Starla returned to Muleshoe from mortuary school in 1984 and purchased interest in the funeral home in 1987 where Todd became manager.  In 2009, Todd and Starla purchased full interest in the funeral home.

In 2011, Colt graduated from mortuary school and joined the business and purchased interest in the funeral home in 2019.  Colt then became manager of the funeral home.  He married Leslie Allen in May, 2020.  They have two daughters, Bentlee and Parker.

Ellis Funeral Home is a three-generation business. As of February 2024, they have  been taking care of families in our community for 65 years with grace, dignity, and professionalism. 

We would really like to thank Todd, Starla, Colt, and Leslie for supporting our center.  It’s businesses like this that make it possible for us to continue to serve our Seniors.
